Basketball

December11

It goes in,
It roles out,
You block her,
She snatches the ball,
You chase her like a fox and a rabbit,
People screaming from the sideline,
She’s gonna make it, she’s gonna make it,
It’s rolling, it’s rolling,
It’s out, get the rebound! Get the rebound!

The French Horn

December11

A huge brass instrument,
With its curved edges,
And superb size,
A perfect little slot for a perfect little mouth piece,
Enormous sound,
And tiny little dents where you accidentally collide with a chair.

I am From . . .

November24

I am from umbrellas,
From the sweet shop and the pond,

I am from the red bricks
And white doors.

I am from the plant in the corridor,
The bent over tree that i loved, lived, and played in.

I’m from curry on Fridays and the every day pies,
From crazy uncles and a boring grandad,

I’m from hokey practice on Thursdays and church on Sundays,
And from going to bed whenever you want.

I’m from the monster up the stairs and the scary doll on the bed,
And ” don’t forget to share and care”

I am from the land far away and the city under the clouds,
Fish and chips and roast dinners.

I am from the man who sailed the seven seas,
With his red beard,

From the Traveling piano
Under the stairs.

Fireworks

November24

They light up the sky, light a flash of light,
They sparkle in the darkness, were everything seems lost,
They make people laugh like they just saw heaven,
They are fireworks.

Electronics

November17

Electronics are taking over the world. They are literally killing people, it’s scary. Kids at lunch can’t even have a conversation because they are more in love with there iPad or phone. It’s stupid how addictive playing a game or watching a movie is. I like electronics but at least I could live without them…

Wow, I can see!

November10

” Miss, I can’t see the board. Can I move closer?”
“Yes, quickly!”

I use to ask this question all the time in year 6, but I told my mum and she said that I could get some glasses.

As soon as I received them, I put them in and suddenly everything had so much more detail then just a blurry tree, it had bright leaves with perfectly rough bark.

What were you for Halloween?

November3

What were you for Halloween?
I wasn’t really anything. I was kind of a cat but I was wearing a bring neon pink tutu with a leotard and cat ears, so I guess you could have considered me as a type of cat.

Nothing

November1

Nothing spring’s to mind why I am forced to write. I don’t get inspired by anything new or different. I just sit at my desk waiting for something new, fun, or exciting to happen, but instead I always relive that I have homework that I forgot about and start on that instead.

Friends

October16

Friends are like family,
Family are like friends,
You love them but sometimes are angry with them,
You understand them but never know what they want,
You cherish them but discard them at the same time.

What is one thing you can’t live without?

October14

What do you cherish, love and need?

I know food and water is the obvious answer to that question, but think of something that love, something that you need not want. I need my bed, I personally can’t live without it. It’s like a life savor! What do you need and love? What is something that you just can’t live without.
