Hope is important by Libby and Kendall

February6

Please let me pass…Your sitting in your desk with your figures crossed, hoping for a good grade…even thought you know you didn’t study sometimes life can be tough and difficult, but you must keep hope.

For instance of you don’t have hope you don’t believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself and your team you will lose all confidence and will not preform aswell. In basketball we haven’t been doing very well on our games because we don’t believe and have hope in each other. If you don’t have hope you won’t succeed.

Also if you don’t have hope you won’t try to accomplish easy tasks. Let’s say your big science test is coming up and you already thought you were going to fail so you didn’t even try to study. Your grade…well…not the best. So if you don’t try and believe in your self you won’t succeed.

Sometimes life gets hard, and it’s hard to think positively. But having hope can give you the opportunity to try hard and believe.

That’s a really great and powerful poem! I think that hope is powerful and great if you fully believe in it! And it brings confidence in your life!

I know how you feel. It is totally nerve wreaking, when your waiting for your grade to passed to you, and if I get a bad grade then I was wrorried for something. trust me I now how you feel.

I really like the idea you chose for this. I do believe that hope is important. I also have had tests that I just hoped that I would pass. This is an inspiring piece. I find that hope is such a key because if you had no hope you would be a hard-nosed type and nobody wants to be mean. I believe hope is great and truly helpful. Wonderful post.

This is so good! I love the beginning because that is so true…whenever I forgot to study for a test or something and I am getting my grade back I am just like that. Also I totally agree, you should never lose hope! I love the message because its so true for everything in life. Your transitions are also really good at the beginning of each paragraph, and your examples are great! Keep up the great writing!
